In 2015 I had the pleasure of collaborating with the San Francisco Symphony to produce a series of mini-documentaries focusing on stories of the symphony players, looking at their lives outside of Davies Hall.

A Year in Champagne
The second in a trilogy of Wine documentary features, A Year in Champagne was produced by InCA Films and distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films.

A Year in Champagne was filmed over the course of a year with four location shoots in the Champagne region of France. The film follows a mix of Champagne houses and small family producers to tell the story behind the world’s most famous bubbly. Camera and editing duties were shared between myself and fellow producer Jamie Lejeune, and on location I used my French to conduct interviews and direct.

Arion Press: Creating the 100th
A short documentary produced by InCA Films in collaboration with The Arion Press, a traditional printing press and book-making house located in San Francisco’s Presidio.

The film chronicles the creation of a deluxe edition of Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass, guided by venerable book-maker Andrew Hoyem.

Land of Songs
Land of Songs is an independent feature documentary produced by Aldona Watts, telling the story of a group of grandmothers who were members of a singing troupe from a remote Lithuanian Village. The film is premiering in festivals in 2015.
